Interviews

As part of my personal project research, I interviewed athletic coaches at Hangzhou International School about their coaching goals, philosophy, experience, methods, and advice for a high school student learning to coach. These interviews helped me understand what effective coaching really looks like—beyond just running drills or giving instructions. Each coach offered a unique perspective on working with young athletes, leading a team, and building confidence through sports. Their insights directly shaped how I approached my own coaching and pushed me to grow both as a leader and a learner.
